  • Get plenty of adequate and quality sleep.

  • Keep your relationship in check. For women especially, emotional closeness is important in intimacy. Communicate better before & during sex, and also resolve pending conflicts.

  • Use a lubricant. Sex doesn’t have to be painful and uncomfortable.

  • Eat healthily.

  • Exercise often.

  • Change in medications and birth control pills (consult your doctor or pharmacist)

  • Testosterone-replacement therapy

  • Anti-depressants (though some cause low libido. Be sure to ask)

  • Counselling.

  • Aphrodisiacs such as viagra (prescription usually required).
