Aptamil 1 is balanced to provide:

- GOS/FOS (9:1): A patented blend of Galacto- and Fructo-oligosaccharides that mimic the structure of prebiotics found in breastmilk to support gut health.
- Lactose: The primary carbohydrate source, providing essential energy.
- Vitamins A, C, D & Iron: To support the immune system and normal cognitive development.
- Nucleotides: To aid in cell division and overall growth.
Preparation & Dosage
The feeding guide on the back of the tin is a general rule; every baby is different.
- Wash hands and sterilize all equipment.
- Boil 1 liter of fresh water. Leave to cool for 30 minutes. Do not use bottled water.
- Measure the required water into the sterilized bottle.
- Use the provided scoop. Level off the powder with the built-in leveler. Do not press/heap the powder.
- Add the correct measure of powder to the water (Standard ratio: 1 scoop per 30ml of water).
- Shake well for 10 seconds to dissolve.
- Cool the bottle under a cold tap. Test temperature on your wrist (it should feel lukewarm, not hot).
Storage and Disposal
- Store the tin in a cool, dry place (do not refrigerate).
- Use the contents of the tin within 4 weeks of opening.
- Discard any unfinished feeds within 2 hours. Never save "leftover" milk for later.
