Directions: 

Always thoroughly wash and dry affected areas of your skin and nails before using any topical treatment.

If you have a skin infection: apply the cream directly to affected areas twice a day, gently rubbing it into the area as well as the surrounding skin.

If you have a nail infection: apply the cream to affected nails either once or twice a day, gently rubbing it into the nail and surrounding area.

Unless the infection is present on your hands, always thoroughly wash your hands after using Daktarin cream. This will help to avoid the spread of infection.

Depending on the severity of your infection it will take anywhere from two to six weeks for the cream to fully clear up the infection. Nail infections usually take longer than skin infections.

Continue using Daktarin cream for at least 7 days after all symptoms have disappeared. This is important as it will ensure that the infection cannot return.

If your symptoms worsen or your infection spreads, always consult with your doctor.

Side effects associated with Daktarin cream are rare, however if they do occur they can include:

Burning skin.
Increased irritation.
Increased heat on application areas.
Increased itchiness.
Discolouration of the skin.
