Dosage of SHALTOUX CHESTY COUGH SYRUP
Take as directed by the pharmacist or physician. The dosage is based on age and should be measured accurately (1 teaspoonful approxmatiely 5 mL; 1 tablespoon 15 mL.
- Adults and pediatric patients over 12 years of age: The usual starting dose is 1 tablespoonful (15 mL) three times a day.
- Pediatric patients 6 to 12 years of age: The usual starting dose is 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) three times a day.
- Pediatric patients 2 to 6 years of age: Dosing should be initiated at Salbutamol 0.1 mg/kg of body weight three times a day, not exceeding 2 mg of Salbutamol per dose. Consult a doctor.
