• Dosage: Requires a tiny, precise amount of blood (e.g. 5 microliters, usually collected with a capillary tube or dropper) and the specified number of drops of the buffer solution.

Proper Administration

• Preparation: Ensure all components are at room temperature (15 degree C – 30 degree C).
• Sample Collection: Clean the finger (e.g., middle or ring finger) with the alcohol swab. Puncture the skin with the sterile lancet. Wipe away the first drop of blood. Collect the second drop using the provided pipette or dropper up to the marked line.
• Testing: Add the precise blood volume to the specimen well (S) of the cassette, and then immediately add the specified number of drops of the buffer solution to the appropriate well (A or D).
• Reading: Start the timer immediately. Read the result exactly at 15-20 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 30 minutes.
