Use as directed by the pharmacist or physician. The standard dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily, either in the morning or evening.

Contraindications of DuoTrav

Do NOT use DuoTrav if you:

• Have Asthma or a history of severe obstructive lung disease.
• Have a slow heart rate (bradycardia), heart failure, or heart block.
• Are allergic to Travoprost, Timolol, or any other ingredients (including benzalkonium chloride).
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Side Effects of DuoTrav

• Common: Redness of the eye (hyperemia), eye irritation, or a temporary darkening of the iris/eyelashes.
• Serious (Rare): Shortness of breath, chest pain, or a significantly slowed pulse (due to the Timolol component).
• Action: If you experience any breathing difficulties or heart palpitations, stop use and seek immediate medical attention.

Precautions and Warnings

• Eye Color Change: Be aware that DuoTrav can permanently change eye color by increasing brown pigment.
• Contact Lenses: Remove lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
• Health History: Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, as Timolol can mask the symptoms of low blood sugar.

• Strength: 40 micrograms/ml Travoprost + 5 mg/ml Timolol.
