- Have an allergy to any of the ingredients or to sulfonamide-derived drugs.
- Suffer from low potassium, low sodium, or high calcium levels that do not respond to treatment.
Side Effects of Exforge HCT
- Common: Dizziness, headache, fatigue, and ankle swelling (edema).
- Serious (Rare): Unusual skin rashes, fainting, or signs of kidney problems (change in urine amount).
- Action: If you experience sudden swelling of the face or difficulty breathing, seek emergency medical care.
Precautions and Warnings
- Sun Sensitivity: The HCTZ component may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Use sunscreen.
