Dosage of Healthcheck 3H-Viral Check Test Cassette

Healthcheck 3H-Viral Check Test Cassette is a single-use diagnostic device.

Use one test cassette per test session.

Proper Administration

• Route: Finger-prick blood sample.
• How to Use:
  1. Ensure the cassette is at room temperature.
  2. Use the included alcohol pad to clean the fingertip and then prick the finger with the sterile lancet.
  3. Collect the required amount of blood sample (usually a small drop via the pipette).
  4. Apply the sample to the designated sample well (S) on the cassette.
  5. Add the specified number of drops of the buffer solution to the sample well.
  6. Start a timer and wait for the results.
• Reading the Result: Read the lines strictly within the time indicated (e.g., 10-20 minutes).

Result Interpretation

• Negative: Only one colored line appears in the Control Region (C).
• Positive: A line appears in the Control Region (C) AND a line appears at T1 (HIV), T2 (HBsAg), and/or T3 (HCV). Any visible line in the Test Regions (T) suggests a preliminary positive result.

Invalid: No line appears in the Control Region (C). Repeat the test.

Contraindications of Healthcheck 3H-Viral Check Test Cassette

Do NOT use the Healthcheck 3H-Viral Check Test Cassette if:

• The foil pouch is punctured, damaged, or not well-sealed.
• The test has passed its expiration date.
• You are attempting to reuse the test (single-use only).

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Warnings

• General: As this is a non-invasive diagnostic test (using a pinprick of blood), it poses no direct risk to the user during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Screening during pregnancy is highly recommended for early detection and prevention of mother-to-child transmission.

Side Effects of Healthcheck 3H-Viral Check Test Cassette

The test does not have clinical side effects, but the procedure may cause minor discomfort.

• Common Side Effects (Mild and Expected): Temporary, mild pain or a small bruise (hematoma) at the finger-prick site.
• Serious but Rare Side Effects (that may require medical attention): None related to the test chemistry. The primary risk is misinterpretation of the result.

What to do if results are unclear or positive:

• Any Positive Result (Lines T1, T2, and/or T3 appear): The result is preliminary. Consult a doctor or healthcare professional immediately for confirmatory laboratory testing.
• Invalid Result (No Control Line C): The test did not work. Repeat the test with a new cassette.
• Negative Result: If the test is negative but recent exposure (within the last 3 months) is suspected, retesting after the window period (typically 3 months) is highly recommended to confirm the result.

Precautions and Warnings of Healthcheck 3H-Viral Check Test Cassette

• Screening Only: This is an in vitro diagnostic screening test only and is NOT a confirmatory diagnosis. All positive results must be followed up with a clinical laboratory test.
• Window Period: Testing too soon after exposure (before the window period closes) can lead to a false negative result.
• Strict Timing: Read the results strictly within the specified reading time (usually 10-20 minutes). Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes, as it may become inaccurate (false positive).
• Biohazard: The used lancet, pipette, and cassette are considered biohazardous materials. Handle and dispose of all components safely as instructed.
