Take as directed by the pharmacist or physician. For hypertension, it is usually taken once daily at the same time.

Contraindications of Lisinopril

Do NOT take Lisinopril if you:

• Are pregnant (can cause serious injury or death to the fetus).
• Have a history of angioedema (hereditary or caused by previous ACE inhibitor use).
• Have recently taken a medicine containing sacubitril (e.g., Entresto).
• Have diabetes and are taking Aliskiren.

Side Effects of Lisinopril

• Common: Persistent dry cough, dizziness, headache, and fatigue.
• Serious (Rare): Yellowing of the eyes/skin (liver issues), high potassium levels (muscle weakness), or kidney dysfunction.
• Action: If you experience swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, seek emergency medical care immediately.

Precautions and Warnings

• Kidney Health: Regular monitoring of kidney function and potassium levels is required.
• Hydration: Excessive sweating, vomiting, or diarrhea can lead to dangerously low blood pressure.
• Surgery: Inform your surgeon you are on Lisinopril before any procedure involving anesthesia.
