Dosage of Predicte Pregnancy Test Strip

Predicte Pregnancy Test Strip is a single-use diagnostic device.

Use one test strip per test session.

Proper Administration

• Route: Urine sample.
• How to Use:
  1. Collect a fresh sample of urine in a clean, dry container (first morning urine is ideal).
  2. Remove the strip from its foil pouch just prior to testing.
  3. Hold the strip vertically, and immerse the end with the arrows into the urine sample. Do not immerse past the MAX line.
  4. Remove the strip after the designated time (usually 10 to 15 seconds) or when the sample has migrated into the test window.
  5. Lay the strip flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface.
• Reading the Result: Read the result exactly at the time specified on the package (typically 3 minutes).

Result Interpretation

• Negative (Not Pregnant): Only one colored line appears in the Control Region (C).
• Positive (Pregnant): Two colored lines appear: one in the Control Region (C) and one in the Test Region (T). Even if the line in the Test Region (T) is very faint, the result should be considered positive.
• Invalid: No line appears, or only a line appears in the Test Region (T) but not the Control Region (C). Repeat the test.

Missed Dose Guidance

• Not applicable. If a test is invalid or negative, and pregnancy is still suspected, repeat testing after 48-72 hours.

Contraindications of Predicte Pregnancy Test Strip

Do NOT use the Predicte Pregnancy Test Strip if:

• The foil pouch is punctured, damaged, or not well-sealed.
• The test has passed its expiration date.
• You are attempting to reuse the test (it is single-use only).

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Warnings

• General: As this is a non-invasive diagnostic test, it poses no direct risk to the user during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, medications containing hCG (such as those used in fertility treatments) may interfere with the results and cause a false positive.

Side Effects of Predicte Pregnancy Test Strip

The Predicte Pregnancy Test Strip does not have clinical side effects.

• Invalid Results: The primary issue is an invalid result (no control line appears), which typically means the test strip was not properly saturated with urine or the test is faulty.
• Misinterpretation: Incorrect interpretation of a very faint line or reading the result after the recommended time window can lead to emotional distress (false positive or false negative).

What to do if results are unclear or negative:

• If the control line does not appear, the result is invalid. Repeat the test with a new strip.
• If the result is negative, but your period is still delayed, repeat the test after 48 to 72 hours as hCG levels double quickly in early pregnancy.
• For any result you are uncertain about, consult your doctor for confirmation via a clinical blood test.

• Timing is Key: Read the result within the time specified on the package (typically 3 to 10 minutes). Do not interpret the test after the maximum read time (e.g., 10 minutes or 30 minutes), as evaporation lines or later chemical changes can cause inaccurate readings.
• Medications: Inform your doctor about any prescription treatments containing hCG. Other medications like pain killers (analgesics), antibiotics, or birth control pills should not affect the result.
