The Flowflex SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swab specimens directly from individuals who are suspected of an active COVID-19 infection within the first seven days of the onset of symptoms. Supplied in a single pack Cassette Format.
Pack contains;
- 1 x Test Cassette
- 1 x Extraction Buffer Tube
- 1 x Disposable Swab
- 1 x Waste Bag
- 1 x Package Insert
- Unscrew the tube cap and place the extraction buffer tube in the holder.
- Remove Facemask
- Carefully insert the Nasal swab into one nostril. Push the swab up to 2.5cm (1inch ) from the edge of the nostril
- Rotate the swab 5 times and then repeat this process in the other nostril with the same swab
- Insert the swab into the buffer tube and swirl it for atleast 30 seconds
- Rotate atleast 5 times while squeezing the tube
- Remove the swab while squeezing the sides of the tube to extract the liquid from the swab, then discard it
- Screw the cap firmly
- Mix thoroughly by swirling or flicking the bottom tube
- Take out the test cassete and place it on a clean flat surface
- Add 4 drops of processed specimen to the sample well of the test cassete
- Read the result at 15-30 minutes, Do not read the result after 30 minutes.
- Consult a healthcare Professional as soon as possible
Result Interpretation:
- One line at the control (C) indicate negative Result
- Two lines indicate positive result
- One line at the Test(T) indicate invalid result
