Dosage of Nosapmin Drops

For Infants: Take as directed by the pharmacist or physician. Dosage is typically based on body weight: approximately 1 mg per Kg body weight, 3 to 4 times daily, or:

• Up to 3 months: Administer 2 to 4 Nosapmin Drops, 3 to 4 times daily.
• 3 to 6 months: Administer 4 to 6 drops, 3 to 4 times daily.
• 6 to 12 months: Administer 6 to 9 drops, 3 to 4 times daily.

Proper Administration and Timing

• Proper Administration: Administer orally using the provided dropper. The drops can be given directly into the child's mouth.
• Best Time to Take It: Infant doses are typically advised to be taken 10 to 15 minutes before feeding to allow the antispasmodic to act before the feed.
• Food/Drink Interactions: Best given before feeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist about combining it with formula or milk.

Contraindications of Nosapmin Drops

Do NOT administer Nosapmin Drops if:

• Pre-existing Medical Conditions: The patient has a known history of narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy or urethral stricture, or severe impairment of hepatic (liver) or renal (kidney) functions. Caution is also advised in acute myocardial infarction, thyrotoxicosis, and cardiac insufficiency.
• Age Restrictions: The dosage is clearly defined for infants by age and weight. Use is generally for infants from birth up to 12 months, but always follow the doctor's prescription.
• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Warnings: Homatropine Methylbromide is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Drug Allergies: Known hypersensitivity or allergy to Homatropine Methylbromide or any excipients in the formulation.
