Adults and Children 12 years and older: Swallow 1 tablet (60 mg) with water every 4 to 6 hours as required.

Do not exceed 4 tablets (240 mg) within any 24-hour period.

Can be taken with or without food. Do not use continuously for more than 7 days without medical supervision.

Contraindications of Sudafed Decongestant

• Cardiovascular Conditions: Do not use if you have severe hypertension (high blood pressure) or severe coronary artery disease.
• MAOI Interaction: Do not take if you are currently taking, or have taken within the last 14 days, Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) for depression.
• Age Restriction: This medication is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Side Effects of Sudafed Decongestant

• Common: Dry mouth, restlessness, insomnia (trouble sleeping), nervousness, or a mild increase in heart rate.
• Rare: Urinary retention (especially in older men with prostate issues), severe skin reactions, or dangerously high blood pressure. Discontinue use and contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe dizziness or heart palpitations.

Precautions and Warnings of Sudafed Decongestant

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have diabetes, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, kidney problems, or an enlarged prostate.
• Avoid Nighttime Use: Because pseudoephedrine has stimulant properties, avoid taking it close to bedtime to prevent sleep disturbances.
