The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is a targeted exfoliating solution designed to offer mild yet effective chemical peeling. By removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells, it reveals the brighter, more radiant skin underneath. Unlike physical scrubs that can cause micro-tears, this liquid toner uses Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) to chemically dissolve the bonds between dead cells. It is further enriched with Tasmanian Pepperberry and Ginseng to help reduce the irritation often associated with acid use, making it a cult favorite for achieving a "glass skin" glow.
As a potent topical exfoliant: Use ideally in the evening. After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad and sweep across the face and neck. Do not rinse. Start with 2–3 times a week before moving to once-daily use as tolerated .
Do not use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin barriers.
Avoid use if you have active rosacea or extremely thin, fragile skin.
This product contains an AHA that increases skin sensitivity to the sun. Daily use of SPF 30+ is mandatory during use and for one week after stopping.
Do not use in the same routine as Retinol, Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid), or other strong acids.
Avoid contact with the eyes and eye contour.
