Contraindications of Vega

• Nitrates: NEVER take Vega if you use nitrate medicines (e.g., Nitroglycerin) for chest pain, as it can cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure.
• Heart Conditions: Recent stroke, heart attack, or unstable angina.
• Vision Loss: If you have a history of Non-arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION).
• Age: Not intended for use by women or children under 18 years.

Side Effects of Vega

• Common: Headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, and mild dizziness.
• Rare but Serious: Blurred vision, sudden hearing loss, or Priapism (an erection lasting longer than 4 hours).
• Action: If an erection lasts more than 4 hours, seek emergency medical help immediately to prevent permanent tissue damage.

Precautions and Warnings

• Blood Pressure: Vega can cause a temporary decrease in blood pressure; use caution if you take alpha-blockers.
• Pre-existing Conditions: Consult a doctor if you have sickle cell anemia, leukemia, or stomach ulcers.
• Deformation: Use with caution if you have Peyronie’s disease (physical deformity of the penis).
