- Have severe kidney impairment or are unable to urinate (anuria).
- Have an allergy to Valsartan, HCTZ, or sulfonamide-derived medications.
- Have diabetes and are taking Aliskiren.
Side Effects of Co-Diovan
- Common: Dizziness, fatigue, headache, or mild stomach upset.
- Serious (Rare): Fainting, signs of electrolyte imbalance (extreme thirst, muscle cramps), or yellowing of the skin/eyes.
- Action: If you experience sudden swelling of the face or difficulty breathing, contact emergency services immediately.
