Usage Instructions

General Use (OTC): Scoop a small amount of Vaseline 50ml with a clean fingertip and apply to the affected area.

• Proper Administration: Apply a thin layer to cover the skin completely. A thick layer is usually unnecessary and may feel heavy.
• Best Time: Ideal for use immediately after bathing or washing hands/feet while the skin is slightly damp to lock in maximum moisture.

Application Frequency: Reapply as needed, particularly after the skin has been exposed to water or irritants.

Contraindications of Vaseline 50ml

Do NOT use Vaseline 50ml if:

• Allergies: Known hypersensitivity or allergy to petrolatum (rare).
• Deep/Puncture Wounds: Do not apply to deep, bleeding wounds, animal bites, or serious burns without consulting a doctor.
• Acne-Prone Areas: Avoid liberal use on the face if you have severe acne, as its heavy occlusive properties may clog pores.

Side Effects of Vaseline 50ml

• Common Side Effects (Mild and Expected): Temporary greasy or heavy feeling on the skin.
• Serious but Rare Side Effects: Allergic contact dermatitis. If used excessively on the face, it may rarely cause milia or exacerbate acne in susceptible individuals.
• What to do: If a rash, redness, or persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Precautions and Warnings of Vaseline 50ml

• External Use Only: Strictly for external, topical application. Do not ingest.
• Avoid Eyes: Avoid contact with eyes.
• Application on Infections: Consult a doctor before applying to skin infections, as the occlusive barrier could potentially trap bacteria.

Clothing Stains: Petroleum jelly can stain fabrics; allow a few minutes for a thin layer to absorb before dressing.
